Is it true dat many printers r trown away cuz peeps dnt wanna replace ink/toner???

Yes, for many laser printers, it is sometimes cheaper to throw out the printer and get a new one after 2 years, than replace all the toners for over $400

Same for some inkjets, toner is the most expensive part - inkjet printers are almost given away free, just to get you to buy toner.... (price of new inkjets/laserjets is for the ink/toner basically...)Is it true dat many printers r trown away cuz peeps dnt wanna replace ink/toner???
Yes, it's true. Sometimes it's maybe $5 more to get a nicer printer (which of course comes with ink) than it is to get new ink/toner. I have, however, started to see printers that have 'inkwells', rather than cartridges, which means you're only paying for the ink, not the print-head every time. Some printer cartridges can be bought that are refillable, but I don't know how good they are as I have a large-format printer that takes an odd number... But then my printer (and it's replacement models) cost around $200-300 so I'm not in that new ink/new printer dilemma.

i have no idea but its probably the people who dont know anything about printers or computers, i replace the ink, it saves ALOT OF MONEY!
