Places at either pole get almost 24 hours of sun in summer and almost 24 hours of night in winter, because of the tilt of the earth.Is it really true dat..?
That doesn't happen unless you're actually on the north (or south) pole. They do have a period of about a month in the north where it is night all the time, and then day for a month in half a year.
haha yes, the world is distorted there, which is why night lasts for 6 months. i blame palin.
