it has to be able to lay in the crate not just sit
a dispute with love him for evaIsnt it true dat when u crate train a puppy?
Love him for eva, how bout we cut your bed in half so you have to sit whilst you are trying to sleep?
Given that the crates are used for many reasons including long distance transportation and now one of the most common reasons for using a crate is a bed or den............yes, you can tell love him for eva that the dog needs to lay in it too.Isnt it true dat when u crate train a puppy?
Well, yea.
Of course. Dogs spend most of their lives lounging around. Puppies are more active, but they also need a lot of sleep.
Take a grammar class before anything, then buy you a puppy and a crate. Yes, a dog has to be able to sit, stand, lay down, turn around and spread out in the crate. I always get my dog's crate one size too big than it's recommended.
if you want your dog to not have hip or joint problems then i would recommend buying a bigger crate for your dog. we had a crate which our shepherd was crate trained in and he sat in it. when he came out of it he was sore and had to stretch alot. we used the small crate when he was a puppy all the way up to when he was 9 months. soon he got to big for it and we got him a huge crate. he loves it and he can lie down. it is bad for a dogs health to make it live in a small crate. heres a website with nice crates http://www.petstreetmall.com/dog-crates/ make sure to click below where it says big dog crates. you should check it out.
They should be able to sit, lay, stand and turn around in their crate. Go to Dr. P's Training Tips on your search engine and there will be a ton of crate training tips and tips on most any thing else also.
A crate should have enough room for a dog to stand up, turn around, and lay down.
';Dog crate size tip...
A general rule for crate sizing is, measure your dog (or estimate if it's still a puppy), from chest to base of tail, and again to top of shoulders. Take the measurements and add 4 to 6-inches to each, this is the desirable crate size. ';
