That's correct. The FL legislature did not enact a sales tax holiday for 2009.
Depending upon where you live in FL it may be worthwhile to travel a bit though. Some neighboring states do have the tax holiday this year.

Louisiana has 3 beginning with 2009:
1. everything in August
2. Hurricane supplies in May
3. Hunting supplies in September
is there ever? Probly cuz no one in florida has money cept the whites in Disney world
